Description

Overview We are looking for an enthusiastic business development officer with a knack for communicating and a flair for strategizing and implementing marketing campaigns. As a business development officer, you will be required to contribute to existing marketing, branding and advertising plans, while assisting with the development of fresh initiatives in line with the company's goals. The ideal candidate will be equipped with a relevant qualification and experience in a wide range of marketing functions such as communications, digital marketing, advertising, branding, and social media. To ensure success as a business development officer, you must be an organized person who is able to withstand the pressures of handling varied tasks at the same time and meeting deadlines. Duties & Responsibilities • Monitor and post on blogs, forums, and social networks. • Assist with online outreach and promotion using Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and more. • Collaborate with the management to set goals and responsibilities. • Identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client's business needs. • Develop relationships with prospective clients, while maintaining existing client relationships • Be well-versed on our accounting services, processes, and operations, and remain up to date on industry news. • Perform market research to identify new opportunities and engage with managers to establish strategies for pursuing those new opportunities. • Develop and deliver pitches for potential clients. • Plan, prepare and manage the publication and distribution of publicity materials. • Devise marketing campaigns • Organize a calendar of marketing events, such as dinners, promotions, exhibitions, product launches, workshops, open days or fundraising activities • Represent the company at events • Undertake market research and establish the best way to reach target groups • Write, edit and proofread marketing material for use in different channels • Oversee and update the firm’s website. • Write press releases and communicate with the media Requirements: • Solid understanding of marketing techniques and principles as well as market research and statistical data analysis methods. • Knowledge of MS Office and marketing software. • In-depth knowledge of social media and web analytics. • Exemplary organizational and multitasking skills. • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. • Creativity and commercial awareness. • Strategic vision and sharp business acumen. • Copywriting and graphic/digital design experience preferred. • A team player with a customer-oriented approach. Qualifications • A graduate in Business, Marketing or Journalism or related field with strong academic credentials. Experience 0-2 Years in a related role within the Sultanate of Oman. Applicants must: 1. Be fluent in both Arabic & English. 2. Hold a valid driving license & vehicle. 3. Hold an NOC (if applicable).
