Qualifications • Omani national • Bachelor’s degree in cyber security or other related fields with a minimum of 10 years of experience in security • Known security certification like (CEH, CISM, CISSP . . . , etc. ) • Experience with widely known security reference architectures • Experience in service-oriented industries • Proven track record of leading successful cyber security projects • Understand core business processes and associated technical solutions • Have an innovative and disrupting mindset, constantly looking forward Roles and Responsibilities • Develop and enhance a cyber-security management framework based on internationally proven frameworks • Assess Client cyber security maturity level and recommend improvement • Develop, implement, and monitor a strategic, comprehensive enterprise cyber security and IT risk management program • Review and update Client’s Cyber Security manual and ensure that it gets approved by the management • Define a strategy on establishing SOC for Client along with the required processes and supporting setup. Then execute the strategy till establishment of the SOC. • Work directly with the relevant business units to facilitate risk assessment and risk management processes • Understand and interact with related disciplines through committees to ensure the consistent application of policies and standards across all technology projects, systems, and services • Partner with business stakeholders across the company to raise awareness of cyber security and its impact on the organization business • Implement vulnerability testing, threat analyses, and security checks • Ensure that security systems are always up to date • Audit IT architecture and processes from security standpoint • Assist with the overall business technology planning, providing a current knowledge and future vision of technology and systems • Transfer knowledge to other team members ensure their readiness to continue the journey
