As a Food and Beverage Captain 5 years in Five Star Hotel Assist with the managers in food and beverage administrations to achieving the revenues targets and profitability of the restaurant and ensure prompt, accurate and personalized service to all the guests & create an atmosphere of high employee morale with ensuring the smooth operation of the day to day work. Duties and Responsibilities • Responsible for maintaining hygiene and cleanliness standards in the outlet and upkeep of all service equipment. • Ensure proper inventories are maintained and physical inventories are carried out as and when required or scheduled • Ensure team members consistently maintain brand standards by offering very personalized service in the restaurant and the functions. • Interacts with guests to obtain feedback on quality of service and food in restaurant/Banquet functions. • Manage restaurant/banquet reservations and arrange for events. • Manage all transactions accurately during the service. • Manage Events/Banquet operations with passion, integrity and knowledge while promoting the culture and values of the hotel. • Work directly with the host/event coordinators. • Create and distribute banquet function plan to all department heads and personnel who are involved in servicing banquets function. • Work with management and other heads of departments always and assist in carrying out special requirements and duties necessary in adding to the guest’s general comfort and wellbeing.
