We are looking for a sous chef ,Indian fine dine restaurant Chain, who can join As soon as possible As a Sous Chef specializing in Indian cuisine, your job description may include: 1. Menu Planning and Recipe Development: Assist the Head Chef in developing and creating new menus that showcase Indian cuisine. Develop and test recipes, adjust spices and ingredients to achieve the desired flavor and presentation. 2. Food Preparation: Responsible for preparing and cooking Indian dishes. Ensuring that the food is cooked to the highest standards, meets quality specifications, and is presented in an attractive manner. 3. Stock Management: Ensure the availability of all ingredients and supplies needed to prepare dishes. Monitor stock levels and place orders when necessary. 4. Kitchen Management: Ensure that the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. Train and supervise kitchen staff. Maintain a clean, safe and hygienic kitchen environment. 5. Budget Management: Work with the Head Chef to manage the kitchen budget. Monitor expenses, control costs and maximize profitability. 6. Health and Safety: Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times. Ensure that all staff are trained in safe food handling practices and follow proper food storage, preparation and cooking procedures. 7. Customer Service: Work closely with the front-of-house staff to ensure that customers receive high-quality food and service. Respond to customer feedback and complaints, making adjustments to the menu or service as needed. 8. Special Events: Plan and execute Indian-themed events and special promotions. Work with the Head Chef and management team to create unique dining experiences for customers. Overall, as a Sous Chef specializing in Indian cuisine, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen management, from menu planning to food preparation, kitchen hygiene, staff training, and customer service.
