Description

We are looking for an experienced Boat Captain to operate a 36HT in Muscat, Oman. As the Boat Captain, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the vessel, including navigation, maintenance, and upkeep. Responsibilities: · Operate and maintain the Gulf Craft 36HT in compliance with all local regulations and safety standards. · Ensure the safety of all passengers and crew members while onboard. · Maintain and update all necessary logs and records, including the vessel's maintenance schedule. · Communicate effectively with passengers and crew to ensure a positive and enjoyable experience. · Monitor weather conditions and adjust sailing plans as necessary to ensure the safety of the vessel and passengers. · Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on the vessel, as well as coordinate with outside vendors for more extensive repairs. · Ensure that the vessel is always clean and well-maintained. · Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking the vessel. · Other duties as assigned. Requirements: · Valid Boat Captain's license or equivalent certification · At least 3 years of experience as a Boat Captain, preferably with experience operating a Gulf Craft 36HT or a similar vessel. · Extensive knowledge of local regulations and safety standards for operating a vessel in Muscat, Oman · Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with passengers and crew members from diverse backgrounds. · Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as well as extended periods of time at sea. · Proficient in basic maintenance · Fluent in English We offer: · Competitive salary and benefits · Accommodation provided. · Opportunities for professional development and advancement within the company · A positive and supportive work environment Share your resume on WhatsApp at (View phone number)
