Employment Type: Full-time Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer specializing in Hydraulic Design to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing hydraulic systems for a wide range of civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate has a strong background in hydraulic design, with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the field. Responsibilities: Conduct hydraulic analysis and modeling for various civil engineering projects, including water supply systems, drainage systems, stormwater management, and irrigation systems. Design and optimize hydraulic systems, ensuring efficient and effective performance. Prepare detailed engineering drawings, plans, and specifications for hydraulic infrastructure. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, structural engineers, and environmental engineers, to ensure integrated designs. Perform site visits and inspections to assess hydraulic infrastructure and identify potential issues or improvements. Utilize relevant software and tools to perform hydraulic calculations, simulations, and modeling. Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and advancements in hydraulic design and technology. Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and cost estimates for hydraulic projects. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in hydraulic design within the civil engineering field. Strong knowledge of hydraulic principles, fluid mechanics, and open-channel flow. Proficient in using hydraulic analysis software such as HEC-RAS, EPANET, SWMM, or similar. Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or other relevant design software. Solid understanding of relevant codes, standards, and regulations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
