Position: Experienced Accountant
Location: Muscat, Oman

A reputable logistics firm based in Muscat, Oman, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and efficient management of our financial transactions and records.

Responsibilities:

Manage all accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and cash flow projections.
Monitor and reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial data.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and improve financial efficiency.
Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite, especially Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
