• Evaluating the creditworthiness of customers and establishing credit limits for them.
• Monitoring customer accounts to ensure timely payment of outstanding balances.
• Negotiating payment plans with delinquent customers and following up with them to ensure payment.
• Managing the collections team and providing them with guidance and support.
• Preparing and analyzing reports on the credit and collection activities of the organization.
• Working with other departments within the organization, such as sales to ensure a smooth flow of credit and collection activities.
• Managing relationships with external parties, such as collection agencies and credit bureaus.
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key customers to ensure continued business.
• Maintaining accurate records of credit and collection activities
