Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tile Mason to join our team. The Tile Mason will be responsible for installing and repairing various types of tiles in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Measure and cut tiles to fit the installation area
Prepare surfaces for tiling by removing old tiles, grout, and adhesives and repairing any damaged areas
Installed tiles using various materials such as cement, mortar, grout, and other adhesives
Ensure tiles are properly aligned, leveled, and spaced
Mix and apply grout following installation to secure tiles
Perform repairs on existing tile work as needed
Maintain tools and equipment in good condition
Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations at all times
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Tile Mason or similar role
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans
Proficient in using tile cutting tools and other relevant equipment
Knowledge of various tiling materials and techniques
Strong attention to detail and precision
Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy materials
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
Certification or training in tile installation is a plus.
