Job Summary:
The Electrical Draftsman will be responsible for preparing accurate electrical drawings and layouts for residential, commercial, and industrial building construction projects. The role includes coordination with electrical engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure all electrical designs comply with relevant standards, codes, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed electrical shop drawings, single-line diagrams, load schedules, and schematics based on design input.
• Develop as-built drawings after project completion.
• Draft lighting layouts, power layouts, fire alarm, data/telephone, CCTV, and emergency systems.
• Coordinate with mechanical and architectural teams to ensure clash-free MEP coordination.
• Modify and revise drawings based on markups or changes from the engineering team.
• Maintain drawing registers and document control logs as per project documentation procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Gulf regulations (Oman electrical standard) and international standards (IEC, NEC, etc.).
• Assist site teams with drawing-related queries and support in material take-offs if required.
• Work with CAD software (AutoCAD 2D/3D).________________________________________
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering or Draftsman ship. Or Bachelor of Engineering (EEE).
• Proficient in AutoCAD (2D essential, 3D a plus).
• Familiarity with Gulf electrical regulations (e.g., OES).
• Ability to interpret electrical designs, BOQs, and specifications.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred:
• Previous experience with consultants or MEP contracting companies in the Gulf.
• Valid Gulf country work experience certificate or reference letters.
• Familiarity with electrical installation practices in high-rise buildings, malls, or infrastructure projects.
