We're Hiring: Accountant (with Oman VAT & P&L Experience)
Location: Sohar, Oman

About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with Oman VAT regulations and Profit & Loss statement management. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring VAT compliance, and supporting business decisions through reliable financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and file VAT returns in compliance with Oman tax regulations
Manage and reconcile Profit & Loss statements monthly
Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation
Monitor financial transactions and ensure proper recording
Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors or tax consultants
Provide regular financial reports to management
Manage payable & updating customer & supplier payment
Oversee accounting department

Requirements:

Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience in Oman
Strong knowledge of Oman VAT laws and compliance procedures
Proven experience in preparing and analyzing P&L statements
Proficiency in accounting software (e. g. , Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, or similar)
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Indian, Male Nationals
30-35 years of age
