### **Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Laptop Repair:**

* Diagnose hardware and software issues in laptops and tablets.
* Perform repairs on faulty hardware components, including screens, batteries, motherboards, and more.
* Replace damaged or malfunctioning parts, such as screens, keyboard, and ports.
* Install and configure software for operating systems (Windows, macOS, Android, etc. ) and other applications.

2. **Maintenance and Upgrades:**

* Upgrade the hardware and software of laptops and tablets (e. g. , RAM, storage, OS upgrades).
* Perform routine maintenance tasks like cleaning, system optimization, and updates to keep devices running smoothly.
* Install security patches and software updates.

3. **Customer Support:**

* Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers via phone, email, or in-person.
* Offer advice on the use of various software and hardware functionalities.
* Document issues and resolutions in service logs or customer databases.

4. **Testing and Quality Assurance:**

* Test repaired laptops and tablets to ensure they are working as expected.
* Perform diagnostic tests on devices before and after repairs.
* Confirm the resolution of issues and confirm that no new problems have arisen.

5. **Technical Expertise:**

* Keep up-to-date with the latest hardware and software trends.
* Diagnose and resolve software conflicts, viruses, and malware.
* Assist with device setup, data migration, and troubleshooting software issues.

### **Skills Required:**

* Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing hardware issues.
* Familiarity with different operating systems (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android).
* Knowledge of tablet and laptop components and replacement techniques.
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Good communication skills for customer interaction and explaining technical issues.
* Ability to work with diagnostic software and hardware tools.

### **Education & Experience:**

* Previous experience working with laptops and tablets is usually required.
* Familiarity with repairing both hardware and software issues for a wide variety of brands and models.

### **Job Environment:**

* Typically work in a repair shop, customer service center, or technical support department.
* Some roles may involve travel to client sites for on-location repairs.
