Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly creative and skilled Pastry Chef / Cake Designer to join our coffee shop team. The ideal candidate will specialize in crafting unique, visually stunning, and delicious cakes & pastries** that align with our brand’s aesthetic. This role requires innovation, attention to detail, and a passion for baking artistic desserts that attract customers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and prepare customized cakes, pastries, and desserts with creative themes.
- Experiment with flavors, textures, and decorations to develop signature items.
- Ensure high-quality standards in taste, presentation, and hygiene.
- Manage inventory, ingredient sourcing, and cost control.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop seasonal and promotional menus.
- Train and supervise junior staff (if applicable).
- Maintain compliance with food safety regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Cake Decorator, or Baker portfolio required).
- Expertise in fondant, gum paste, chocolate work, and modern decorating techniques.
- Strong creativity and ability to design Instagram-worthy cakes.
- Knowledge of different dietary preferences
(e.g., vegan, gluten-free).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Culinary/pastry certification is a plus.
- Good communication skills (English proficiency preferred).
