Description

We are seekig Cook, or Line Cook, is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting food in a restaurant or other food service establishment. They work with ingredients, recipes, and cooking equipment to produce meals according to established standards. Their duties include food preparation, cooking, plating, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities:

- Food Preparation:
This includes tasks like washing, chopping, and measuring ingredients, as well as preparing sauces and marinades.

- Cooking:
Using various cooking methods like grilling, frying, baking, and steaming to prepare dishes according to recipes.

- Plating and Presentation:
Ensuring food is presented attractively on plates, following established guidelines.

- Maintaining Cleanliness and Sanitation: keeping the kitchen and cooking stations clean, sanitized, and organized, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.

- Following Recipes and Standards: ensuring that all dishes are prepared according to established recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards.

- Inventory Management: Monitoring inventory levels, rotating stock, and potentially ordering new ingredients.

- Equipment Operation: using and maintaining kitchen equipment like ovens, grills, fryers, and other cooking tools.

- Collaboration: Working with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and timely meal preparation.
