Description

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our cafeteria team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing a variety of fresh and delicious sandwiches, wraps, and related items according to standard recipes and customer preferences, ensuring quality, hygiene, and timely service.



Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and assemble sandwiches, subs, wraps, and paninis as per menu and customer requests
• Slice meats, vegetables, and cheeses using proper equipment and safe handling techniques
• Maintain stock of fresh ingredients and monitor expiry dates
• Follow portion control standards to minimize food waste
• Ensure proper hygiene and cleanliness of work area, equipment, and utensils
• Maintain consistency in presentation and taste of sandwich items
• Assist in preparing basic accompaniments (sauces, spreads, etc. )
• Monitor inventory and communicate with the supervisor for reordering stock
• Handle customer orders efficiently and politely, including any special sandwich customizations
• Comply with all food safety regulations and company SOPs
• Support kitchen team in other light prep work when needed
