Job Vacancy: Pastry Chef

Location: Muscat. Oman

Position: Head Pastry Chef

Job Description: As the Head Pastry Chef, you will lead our pastry kitchen, creating innovative and visually stunning desserts that delight our guests. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the pastry kitchen, including menu development, ingredient sourcing, and team management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute creative and trendy pastry menus that align with the latest culinary trends.

- Oversee daily operations of the pastry kitchen, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.

- Manage and train pastry kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. - Maintain inventory and manage ordering of supplies to ensure the kitchen runs efficiently.

- Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to.

- Collaborate with the executive chef and other kitchen staff to create a cohesive dining experience.

- Experiment with new recipes and techniques to keep our offerings fresh and exciting.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, preferably in a high-end restaurant or bakery.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Exceptional creativity and a keen eye for detail.

- Up-to-date with the latest pastry trends and techniques.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
