Description

Urgently require Heavy equipment mechanic in Sohar area (OMAN). The persons should be very skilled on the diagnosing and repair of heavy equipment such as excavator, forklift, shovel, grader, truck, boom loader, crane etc. Should have good knowledge on hydraulic systems and components. Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on heavy equipment such as bulldozers, cranes, and excavators to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose mechanical issues and perform major and minor repairs on engines, hydraulic systems, and other components. Use diagnostic tools to identify faults and determine necessary repairs, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used, ensuring all documentation meets company and regulatory standards. Work closely with operators to understand equipment issues and provide technical advice as needed.

A high school education is must. Additional vocational training in diesel mechanics or heavy equipment repair is preferred. Should be physically fit to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks, including crawling, bending, and kneeling.
