Description

We are looking for a skilled Exhibition Carpenter to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, assembling, and installing exhibition stands, booths, and display structures according to design specifications. The role requires excellent craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and layout plans for exhibition stands.

Construct, assemble, and install wooden, MDF, and other material structures for exhibitions, events, and displays.

Cut, shape, and join materials using hand tools, power tools, and machinery.

Ensure high-quality finishing, fitting, and alignment of all carpentry work.

Dismantle and pack exhibition stands safely after events.

Work closely with designers, painters, electricians, and other team members to ensure timely project completion.

Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized workshop.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Exhibition Carpenter, Joiner, or similar role.

Ability to read and understand technical drawings and measurements.

Skilled in using woodworking machinery, tools, and materials.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Physical stamina and ability to handle heavy materials and long working hours when required.

Team player with a positive and cooperative attitude.

Flexibility to travel and work on-site at exhibition venues when needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Diploma or certificate in Carpentry, Woodwork, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).

Experience working in exhibition or event production environments.

Knowledge of modular stand systems and exhibition build techniques.
