*Job Summary:*
The Baker is responsible for preparing fresh baked goods such as pastries, breads, cookies, and other items that complement the coffee shop menu. The ideal candidate maintains high standards of cleanliness, quality, and consistency while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

*Key Responsibilities:*

- Prepare and bake pastries, muffins, cookies, cakes, and bread items daily
- Follow standardized recipes and portion guidelines
- Ensure freshness and proper presentation of all baked goods
- Monitor oven and baking equipment for consistent quality
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of baking area and tools
- Order and rotate baking ingredients and supplies
- Collaborate with baristas and kitchen staff on menu pairing
- Develop seasonal or specialty baked items (optional, if creative input allowed)
- Follow food safety standards and kitchen protocols

*Requirements:*

- Proven experience as a baker or pastry chef (preferred)
- Knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work early mornings and maintain consistent production
- Creativity and passion for high-quality baked goods
- Team player with a positive attitude
