Description

Position: Professional Carpenter – Fit-out Works (Oman)
Key Responsibilities:

Fabrication and installation of doors, wardrobes, dressings, kitchens, wall décor panels, and custom furniture.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and execute work with precision.

Handle site measurements, cutting lists, and finishing coordination.

Perform on-site fitting, assembly, and finishing as per design and client specifications.

Maintain quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of work.

Coordinate with , designer, and site team to ensure smooth workflow.

Material Knowledge Required:

Melamine boards (pre-laminated particle board, MDF)

Veneer finish (manual & press veneer application techniques)

Solid wood (joinery, edge profiling, polishing readiness)

MDF / HMR MDF / Plywood / Blockboard

Edge banding & laminate application (machine & manual)

Hardware fittings – hinges, slides, handles soft close systems

Finishing techniques – understanding of PU, veneer polish, laminate finish, and spray coating to give painter

Skills & Qualities:

Minimum 5+ years of experience in furniture & interior fit-out (Gulf experience preferred).

Knowledge of machine operation (panel saw, edge bander, router, etc.).

Ability to work independently or lead small teams.

Strong attention to detail and understanding of modern joinery methods.

Problem-solving attitude and ability to adapt to site conditions.

Good communication skills in Hindi or basic English.

Additional Requirements:

Must be currently in Oman or ready to relocate.

Valid GCC experience will be given preference.

Should be physically fit and reliable with a strong work ethic
