📢 We Are Hiring – Accountant (3–5 Years Experience)
300-350 omr salary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in financial operations, VAT handling, expense categorization, audit support, and daily accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain financial records, ledgers, journals, and daily data entries
• Process invoices, receipts, payments, and other transactions
• Perform accurate and timely bank reconciliations
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Calculate VAT, maintain compliance, and assist with VAT returns
• Handle and record petty cash transactions
• Coordinate with suppliers/vendors for billing and payments
• Compare supplier quotations and support cost-efficient decision making
• Prepare and circulate approval documents for signatures
• Plan scheduled payments in line with company cash flow
• Prepare monthly expense reports (direct vs. indirect costs)
• Maintain organized filing of financial documents
• Follow company cost-cutting policies and monitor expenses
• Support audits with required documentation
• Assist with general administrative duties in the finance department

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (or pursuing professional qualification)
• 3–5 years of accounting or finance experience
• Strong understanding of VAT laws and reporting
• Knowledge of expense categorization and cost-control practices
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
• Experience with accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, etc.) is an advantage
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• High integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
