Job Description – Spare Parts Salesman

Sarkar Spare Parts & Maintenance Centre – Barka, Oman

Position: Spare Parts Salesman

Location: Barka – Sanaya

Employment Type: Full-Time



Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Spare Parts Salesman to join Sarkar Spare Parts. The ideal candidate must have strong automotive knowledge, excellent communication skills in Arabic, Hindi, and English, and previous experience in spare parts sales. The candidate must be able to identify parts accurately, understand customer needs, and provide professional and friendly service.



Key Responsibilities
• Assist walk-in and phone customers in identifying and purchasing the correct spare parts.
• Search and identify parts using online catalogues such as:
• Partsouq. com
• Jikiu. com
• SSG. asia
• And other OEM/aftermarket catalogues
• Check stock availability, prepare quotations, and process invoices.
• Coordinate with suppliers to source urgent or special-order parts.
• Maintain proper records of parts sold and inventory updates.
• Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-presented to customers.
• Build strong customer relationships through excellent service and product knowledge.
• Handle customer issues professionally and provide correct technical guidance when needed.
• Take responsibility for accurate billing, stock control, and daily reporting.



Requirements

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
• Fluent in Arabic, Hindi, and English (speaking and understanding required).
• Previous experience as a Spare Parts Salesman (minimum 1–2 years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of car parts, brands, and automotive systems.
• Ability to use Partsouq, Jikiu, SSG Asia, and other online catalogues.
• Ability to identify parts using VIN numbers, OEM numbers, and diagrams.
• Comfortable using computer, WhatsApp, Excel, and POS billing systems.
