Inbound Tours Executive – Job Description
Position Overview
The Inbound Tours Executive is responsible for handling travel inquiries from international clients, designing customized tour packages, coordinating travel arrangements, and ensuring smooth, high-quality travel experiences for visitors. The role requires strong destination knowledge, attention to detail, and a customer-centric approach.
Responsibilities
. Research destinations, travel options, and pricing.
. Understand client needs and recommend suitable travel packages.
. Organize travel arrangements, including bookings and transportation.
. Provide clients with travel information and materials.
. Handle client issues and assess refund eligibility.
. Maintain accurate client records.
. Build relationships with partners and stakeholders.
. Monitor financials, including receivables and payments.
. Achieve revenue and profit targets.
Requirements
• Strong knowledge of booking systems and procedures.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Excellent sales and customer service skills.
• Knowledgeable in various travel areas (domestic, international, business holidays, groups, etc. ).
• Effective communication and persuasion skills.
• Ability to manage crises.
• Degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, or related field.
• Preference for candidates with personal travel experience.
Educational Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Business Administration, Tourism, or related field.
Qualifications & Skills
Educational Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Travel Management, or relevant field (preferred).
Experience
• 1–3 years of experience in inbound tourism, travel agency operations, or tour planning.
• Experience in handling FIT and group bookings is an advantage.
