Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated Accountant / Finance Assistant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain financial records, ledgers, and journals.

Perform daily data entry of all transactions in the accounting system.

Process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.

Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

Maintain Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable records.

Calculate VAT on transactions and assist in preparing VAT returns and reports.

Manage petty cash with proper documentation.

Coordinate with suppliers/vendors regarding billing and payments.

Compare supplier quotations and ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions.

Prepare financial approval documents and circulate for required signatures.

Assist in scheduled payments according to company cash flow.

Prepare monthly expense reports (direct & indirect costs).

Organize and file financial documents systematically.

Follow company cost-cutting policies and avoid unnecessary expenditures.

Support audits by providing necessary documentation and schedules.

Perform general administrative tasks within the finance department.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

3–5 years of accounting or finance experience.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Knowledge of VAT laws and compliance.

Understanding of cost categorization (direct vs. indirect costs).

Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel).

Experience with accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, etc.) is an advantage.

Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Good communication skills.

Ability to work independently and with a team.

High integrity and confidentiality.
