Job Description – CA / CMA Accountant (Oman Experience Required)

Position: Accountant
Location: Oman
Experience: 1–2 years in Oman (preferred 5–10 years total experience)
Qualification: CA or CMA (Mandatory)
Availability: Must be currently in Oman

Key Responsibilities:

Manage full accounting cycle: AP, AR, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per Omani accounting standards.

Handle VAT filing, compliance, and documentation.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Maintain accurate financial records and reports.

Assist with cost analysis, internal audits, and external audits.

Ensure compliance with Omani tax laws and company policies.

Improve internal controls and enhance accounting processes.

Requirements:

CA or CMA qualification is compulsory.

Minimum 1–2 years Oman experience (5–10 years total preferred).

Strong knowledge of VAT and corporate tax basics in Oman.

Good command of MS Excel and accounting software (Tally, SAP, Oracle, etc.).

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and ability to work independently.

Must be currently residing in Oman.
