Position Summary

We are urgently seeking a well-presented, professional, and detail-oriented Accountant for a reputable firm in Muscat. The ideal candidate will have solid Gulf experience, strong accounting skills, and the ability to support senior management, including CEOs, with accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and daily bookkeeping activities.

Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and monthly/annual reports.

Handle accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, and cash flow statements.

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

Manage petty cash, invoicing, and auditing requirements.

Support CEO or senior management with financial analysis upon request.

Ensure compliance with Omani financial regulations and company policies.

Coordinate with external auditors and internal departments when needed.

Maintain professional conduct, confidentiality, and high integrity.

Requirements

Must be currently residing in Muscat (mandatory for direct interview).

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the Gulf region.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, MS Excel, and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP).

Excellent communication skills and professional presentation.

Ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and handle financial responsibilities accurately.

High level of integrity, discipline, and organizational skills.

Well-groomed, presentable, and professional appearance suitable for a corporate environment.

Preferably early-career professionals (approx. 30–35 age range).
