Primary Duties

Plan and prepare daily meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) as per family preferences
Cook healthy, hygienic, and well-balanced meals
Prepare special dishes for guests, events, or occasions when required
Follow dietary requirements (vegetarian, diabetic, low-salt, children’s meals, etc. )

Kitchen Management

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and cooking area
Wash utensils used for cooking and ensure proper storage
Ensure food is stored safely and correctly
Dispose of kitchen waste properly

Grocery & Stock Handling

Assist in planning grocery and ingredient requirements
Inform the employer in advance about items to be purchased
Manage pantry items and avoid food wastage

⏰ Time & Discipline

Prepare meals on time as per the family’s schedule
Be flexible with meal timings when required

Coordination & Conduct

Coordinate with house staff if any (housekeeper, nanny, etc. )
Maintain confidentiality and respect family privacy
Follow household rules and instructions given by the employer
