## **Position:** Salesman – Marine Spare Parts

### **Job Purpose**

To sell marine spare parts, handle customer inquiries, manage purchasing requirements, and build long-term relationships with ship owners, managers, and workshops.

### **Key Responsibilities**

* Sell marine spare parts to vessels, ship managers, and local customers
* Handle customer inquiries, quotations, and order follow-ups
* Coordinate purchasing of spare parts from suppliers as per customer requirements
* Negotiate prices, delivery terms, and payment conditions
* Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction
* Follow up on deliveries, invoices, and after-sales support
* Maintain records of sales, purchases, and customer communications

### **Required Skills & Experience**

* Experience in **marine spare parts sales or purchasing** (engine, deck, electrical preferred)
* Knowledge of marine equipment, makers, and part identification
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to handle customers professionally and solve problems
* Basic computer skills (email, Excel, ERP if applicable)
* Ability to work independently and meet sales targets

### **Preferred Qualifications**

* Previous experience in marine industry or ship chandling
* Knowledge of local and international suppliers
* Fluency in English,Arabic,Hindi (additional languages an advantage)
