Job Description:
• Handling all accounting functions related to warehouse/store operations.
• Maintaining accurate records of inventory transactions, stock valuation, and material movements.
• Recording sales, receipts, payments, and purchase entries in Tally Accounting Software.
• Reconciling supplier invoices, delivery notes, GRNs (Goods Received Notes), and credit memos.
• Monitoring stock levels and coordinating with the store department for proper inventory control.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Verify all incoming and outgoing stock documents with purchase orders and invoices.
• Maintain proper accounting records for warehouse transactions in the system.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock and financial reports for management.
• Reconcile physical stock with system records and report discrepancies.
• Monitor payable and receivable balances related to warehouse transactions.
• Scrutinize cash vouchers, expense bills, and supplier statements.
• Assist in internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Immediately report any financial irregularities or stock mismatches to management.
Skills:
1. Accounting System & Software (Tally – Mandatory)
2. Strong knowledge of inventory accounting
3. Fluent in Microsoft Excel & MS Office
4. Strong account reconciliation and analysis skills
5. Good numerical and analytical ability
6. Time management and attention to detail
Education:
1. High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Commerce preferred)
2. Ability to speak English and Urdu/Hindi
3. Arabic speaking is an advantage
Salary:
• Basic Salary: OMR 150–250 per month
• Accommodation provided by the company
• Transportation provided by the company
