UPVC and Almunium Workshop Forman

Main Responsibilities

The foreman is responsible for managing daily workshop operations and ensuring high-quality production.

1. Production Supervision
• Oversee fabrication of uPVC and aluminium doors, windows, partitions, and facades
• Ensure all work follows technical drawings and specifications
• Monitor productivity and workflow of workers

2. Team Management
• Supervise technicians, fabricators, and helpers
• Assign daily tasks and monitor performance
• Train new workers on machines and safety procedures

3. Quality Control
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality
• Ensure proper cutting, welding, assembling, and fitting
• Check measurements before delivery

4. Materials & Inventory
• Monitor stock of profiles, glass, accessories, rubber, fittings, etc.
• Coordinate with storekeeper or procurement team
• Minimize material waste

5. Machine & Equipment Handling
• Ensure proper use of machines like:
• Double head cutting machine
• Corner cleaning machine
• CNC router
• Crimping machine
• Arrange maintenance and repairs when needed

6. Safety & Compliance
• Ensure workers follow safety rules (PPE, safe handling)
• Maintain a clean and organized workshop

7. Coordination
• Work with site engineers and project managers
• Coordinate delivery and installation schedules



Required Skills & Experience
• Strong experience in uPVC and aluminium fabrication
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Leadership and team management skills
• Knowledge of profiles systems (like European or Gulf systems)
• Familiar with workshop machinery
