Description

We are seeking a caring, energetic, and responsible Kindergarten Assistant Teacher to support the homeroom teacher in managing and supervising young learners in a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities
Assist the lead teacher in managing a classroom of approximately 20 kindergarten students.
Support students during lessons, activities, playtime, and transitions between classes.

Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.

Supervise children during recess, lunch breaks, and school activities.

Escort and assist students during toilet visits when needed, ensuring safety and hygiene.

Monitor student behavior and encourage positive social interaction and manners.

Assist with preparing classroom materials, decorations, and learning resources.

Support students who may need extra attention or guidance.

Help with arrival, dismissal, and daily student routines.

Communicate any student concerns, incidents, or behavioral issues to the lead teacher.

Ensure students are always supervised and cared for throughout the school day.

Assist during school events, activities, and field trips if required.

Requirements
Previous experience working with young children or in a school environment is preferred.
Patient, friendly, caring, and energetic personality.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to handle children in a calm and professional manner.

English communication skills required.
Understanding of child safety and hygiene practices.
Must be reliable, punctual, and responsible.
Preferred Qualifications
Certificate or diploma in Early Childhood Education is an advantage.

Experience in kindergarten or nursery settings preferred.
