Description

The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market coverage, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring effective distribution of FMCG/other products across assigned territories in Oman. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, maximizing product visibility, and enhancing market penetration.


Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Revenue Generation

* Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
* Increase product distribution and market share within assigned territories.
* Identify new business opportunities and onboard new retail, wholesale, and HORECA customers.
* Execute sales plans and promotional activities to maximize revenue.

2. Customer Relationship Management

* Maintain strong relationships with supermarkets, hypermarkets, groceries, wholesalers, and key accounts.
* Conduct regular customer visits and follow-ups.
* Resolve customer complaints and coordinate with internal departments for timely solutions.
* Negotiate pricing, promotions, and shelf placement with customers.

3. Market Coverage & Merchandising

* Ensure effective route planning and market coverage.
* Monitor product availability, visibility, and merchandising standards at outlets.
* Ensure proper stock rotation and minimize expiries or damages.
* Implement trade marketing activities and in-store promotions.

4. Order Management & Collections

* Generate orders and ensure timely delivery coordination.
* Monitor customer outstanding balances and support collection activities.
* Ensure compliance with company credit policies.

5. Market Intelligence

* Monitor competitor activities, pricing, promotions, and new product launches.
* Provide regular market feedback and customer insights to management.
* Submit daily/weekly sales reports and market updates.

6. Inventory & Distribution Coordination

* Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure product availability.
* Track stock movement and forecast demand within the assigned territory.
* Support efficient distribution and replenishment processes.



Territory Coverage

* Assigned regions within Oman including retail, wholesale, and key account channels.



Deliverables / KPIs

* Achievement of sales targets.
* New customer acquisition.
* Market coverage effectiveness.
* Product visibility and merchandising compliance.
* Collection efficiency and overdue reduction.
* Outlet productivity growth.
* Timely submission of reports.


Qualifications & Experience

* Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration preferred.
* Minimum 3 years FMCG sales experience in Oman.
* Valid Oman driving license.
* Strong knowledge of retail and distribution channels in Oman.
* Good communication and negotiation skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office and sales reporting tools.
