Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Site Engineer to oversee the execution, coordination, and quality control of mechanical and MEP works on-site. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD, capable of reading and interpreting HVAC and MEP drawings, and experienced in translating design documents into practical, on-site implementation across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm, and firefighting systems.

Key Responsibilities
Review, interpret, and implement mechanical, HVAC, and MEP drawings on-site.
Supervise and coordinate installation of HVAC systems (ducting, piping, AHUs, FCUs, chillers, pumps, etc.).
Oversee installation and commissioning of fire alarm and firefighting systems (sprinklers, fire pumps, hydrants, detection and alarm panels) in line with approved drawings and codes.
Coordinate MEP works with other trades (civil, electrical, plumbing) to ensure smooth site progress and avoid clashes.
Use AutoCAD to review, mark up, and update shop drawings and as-built drawings.
Conduct site inspections to verify work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
Prepare and maintain daily/weekly progress reports, material requests, and site documentation.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, project timelines, and quality requirements.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to resolve technical issues.
Support testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
Identify and report deviations, defects, or delays, and propose corrective actions.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
3–5 years Proven experience as a Mechanical/MEP Site Engineer.
Proficiency in AutoCAD — able to read, interpret, and mark up technical drawings.
Strong understanding of HVAC systems (design and installation principles).
Familiarity with full MEP scope of works (mechanical, electrical, plumbing coordination).
Ability to read shop drawings, P&IDs, and as-built drawings.
Strong problem-solving and site coordination skills.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Willingness to work on-site and manage field teams.
