Description


We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Company in Muscat.

Modern Explorer Company (EES) is looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer with strong knowledge of piping networks to support projects including the Mabela Camp Project, Oman Airports Project, and MAM Camp Project.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical piping networks.
- Review drawings, BOQs, specifications, material submittals, and method statements.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines.
- Prepare material take-offs, inspection requests, progress reports, and as-built documents.
- Ensure all works comply with project quality, safety, and schedule requirements.

Required Experience:
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in piping network installation and site execution.
- Experience in water supply, drainage, sewerage, firefighting, irrigation, or chilled water systems.
- Practical knowledge of HDPE, PPR, uPVC, GI, carbon steel, and ductile iron piping.
Experience in pressure testing, flushing, disinfection, commissioning, and snag rectification.
- Previous experience in camp, airport, infrastructure, or utility projects is preferred.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Ability to read mechanical drawings, P&IDs, layouts, and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and project reporting.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and spoken English, Hindi.

Candidate Requirements:
- Must be willing to relocate to Muscat.
- Indian candidates also apply
- Willingness to travel to project sites across Oman.
