Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Cost Controller to join our Food & Beverage company in Oman. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in F&B cost control, inventory management, purchasing, stock management, and financial analysis, with good knowledge of restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and control food, beverage, packaging, and operational costs.
Prepare and analyze food cost and beverage cost reports.
Monitor daily sales, purchases, wastage, transfers, and consumption.
Conduct regular stock counts and inventory reconciliations.
Investigate stock variances, wastage, and unusual consumption.
Monitor recipe costing, portion control, and menu costing.
Verify purchase prices, supplier invoices, GRNs, and stock entries.
Coordinate with Chefs, Branch Managers, Purchasing, Stores, and Finance to maintain proper cost controls.
Prepare weekly and monthly cost-control reports for management.
Monitor actual food cost against the approved budget and identify areas for improvement.
Ensure proper implementation of company policies and procedures related to purchasing, receiving, storage, and inventory.
Support management in reducing unnecessary costs and improving profitability.

Requirements:

Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Cost Controller in the Food & Beverage/Restaurant industry.
Oman experience is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of F&B costing, inventory control, stock reconciliation, and restaurant operations.
Good knowledge of Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
Strong analytical and reporting skills.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple branches.
Candidates with experience in multi-branch restaurant operations will be preferred.
