JOB VACANCY – PROCUREMENT MANAGER

📍 Location: Muscat, Oman

Job Purpose

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to manage local and international procurement for interior fit-out, construction, Design & Build, residential, hospitality and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan and manage procurement activities according to project schedules and required-on-site dates.
* Source materials, furniture, lighting, joinery, carpets, equipment and specialist fit-out items.
* Manage both local and international suppliers and subcontractors.
* Obtain and compare quotations, negotiate prices, payment terms and delivery conditions.
* Prepare RFQs, commercial comparison sheets and Purchase Orders.
* Monitor orders, production, shipping, customs and final delivery.
* Develop and maintain reliable supplier and subcontractor networks.
* Ensure materials comply with approved specifications, quality requirements and project budgets.
* Identify procurement risks, delays and cost issues and take timely corrective action.
* Maintain accurate procurement records and update ERP/Odoo systems.
* Provide regular procurement reports and escalate critical issues to management.

Requirements

* Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
* 8–12 years of relevant procurement experience.
* Strong experience in interior fit-out / construction / Design & Build.
* GCC experience strongly preferred; Oman market experience is an advantage.
* Experience in local and international sourcing.
* Strong supplier negotiation, cost control and procurement planning skills.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ERP/Odoo.
* Strong communication, follow-up, organization and problem-solving skills.
* Able to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
