Yaqut Al Samma Groups (Oman) is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling day-to-day financial transactions, preparing monthly accounts, managing VAT filings.
Maintain and reconcile daily financial transactions and ledger entries.
Prepare monthly detail reports for company accounts, income, and operational expenses.
Compile, verify, and file monthly/quarterly Oman VAT returns in compliance with tax regulation
Assist in preparing monthly trial balances, balance sheets, and profit/loss statements.
Organize and maintain all digital and physical financial records, receipts, and tax documentation.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1–2 years of experience in general accounting
Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills.
