Description

We are seeking waitress / waiter's job to provide excellent customer service in a restaurant or dining establishment.
This involves greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and handling payments. They also contribute to a pleasant dining atmosphere and may assist with table clearing and setup.

# Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting guests and taking orders

- Welcome guests, provide menus, and take accurate orders for food and beverages.

- Serving food and beverages:
They deliver food and drinks to the tables, ensuring they are served correctly and efficiently.

- Handling payments:
Waiters process customer payments and provide bills.

- Ensuring customer satisfaction:
They check on guests to ensure they are enjoying their meals and address any complaints or concerns.

- Maintaining a clean and organized dining area, This includes setting tables, cleaning spills, and assisting with bussing tables.

- Communicating with kitchen staff to relay orders to the kitchen and confirm the accuracy of dishes before serving them.

- Promoting menu items and specials: to offer recommendations and suggestions to enhance the dining experience.

- Following health and safety regulations: to ensure food is handled safely and adhere to hygiene standards.

# Skills and Qualifications:

- Excellent customer service skills: to approachable demeanor, the ability to anticipate needs, and handle complaints professionally.

- Strong communication skills: Effective communication with guests and kitchen staff, including clear and concise order taking.

- Good memory and knowledge of the menu: A good understanding of the menu items and specials to answer customer questions and make recommendations.

- Ability to multitask and work under pressure: Managing multiple orders and maintaining a calm demeanor in a busy environment.

- Physical stamina: Standing for extended periods, carrying trays, and moving around the dining area.

- Basic math skills: Calculating bills and processing payments accurately.

- Food safety knowledge: Understanding of food handling practices and hygiene standards.
