Description

We are seeking a highly competent and experienced Operations Manager to lead, plan, and execute logistics and transport operations across various locations in Oman. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth functioning of day-to-day operations, optimize resource allocation, and maintain compliance with national and client-specific regulations including OPAL standards
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage daily transport and logistics operations including water tankers, sewage tankers, skip loaders, vacuum tankers, and heavy equipment.
• Manage and coordinate with field supervisors, workshop teams, drivers, and support staff to ensure performance and compliance.
• Ensure strict adherence to HSE standards and OPAL Road Safety Standards (V2).
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders for site mobilization, documentation, inspections, and reporting.
• Handle budgeting, cost control, and resource optimization to enhance profitability.
• Conduct performance reviews and training needs assessments for operational staff.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in transport/logistics operations, preferably in Oman or the GCC region.
• Strong knowledge of Oman road transport regulations, OPAL standards, and HSE compliance.
• Experience in waste management logistics, oil & gas sector transport, or industrial operations preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team coordination skills.
• Valid GCC driving license is preferred.
Additional Requirements:
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure.
• Availability to travel between sites across Oman
• Strong documentation and reporting skills in both English and Arabic (preferred).
