Job Title: Native English Tutor / Governess

Location: Oman
Salary: OMR 1,000 – 2,500 per month (depending on experience and qualifications)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated native English-speaking Tutor/Governess to provide high-quality educational support and care for children in a private household in Oman. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching, child development, and nurturing a positive, stimulating learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide personalized tutoring in core academic subjects, focusing on English language, literacy, and general studies.

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the child’s age, ability, and learning goals.

Support homework, school assignments, and exam preparation.

Foster creativity, critical thinking, and good study habits.

Organize educational and recreational activities that promote overall development.

Encourage positive manners, discipline, and social skills.

Coordinate with parents and schools to monitor progress and provide regular updates.

Ensure the child’s well-being, safety, and emotional development in a nurturing environment.

Requirements:

Native English speaker (UK, US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, or South Africa preferred).

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a tutor, governess, or teacher.

Background in education, childcare, or a related field (teaching certification preferred).

Currently residing in Oman.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Professional, discreet, and adaptable to a family environment.
