Require General Manager – Retail & Departmental Store (Oman)

We are a growing company engaged in retail, wholesale, and trade of perfumes and lifestyle products, with expansion into a large departmental store featuring categories such as perfumes, luggage, food, chocolates, flowers, houseware, cookware, café, and more.

We are seeking a General Manager who can lead the entire operation — strengthen our existing business, oversee the new departmental store, and drive overall growth with a clear vision and strong leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise day-to-day business operations across all departments.

Drive sales growth and implement effective retail and marketing strategies.

Oversee purchasing, stock control, supplier relations, and merchandising.

Lead, train, and motivate staff for excellence in performance and customer service.

Monitor financial performance and ensure efficient cost control.

Identify new opportunities to improve business performance and profitability.

Requirements:

Minimum 7–10 years of experience in retail / trading / departmental store management.

Strong knowledge of the Oman retail market and customer behavior.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Fluency in Arabic and English.

Proven ability to increase sales and manage diverse operations.

Hands-on, proactive, and capable of handling multi-category business.
