Salary Range: OMR 300 – 400
Location: Oman

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Officer for a company dealing in furniture. The ideal candidate must have strong negotiation skills, excellent vendor coordination abilities, and a solid understanding of procurement procedures.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Sourcing

Identify, source, and evaluate suppliers of luxury and high-end furniture products.

Request, collect, and analyze quotations from multiple vendors to ensure competitive pricing and quality.

Prepare and compare quotation sheets before final vendor selection.

Negotiate with suppliers on price, delivery timeframes, and payment terms.

Maintain a strong database of approved vendors and suppliers.


Purchase Order & Documentation

Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and follow through until delivery and completion.

Ensure all procurement documentation is accurate and properly filed.

Coordinate with finance for invoice verification and payment processing.


Client & Internal Coordination

Collect client quotations, requirements, and specifications accurately.

Share finalized quotations with clients and ensure clarity of terms.

Coordinate with the operations and sales team for project requirements.

Ensure timely delivery of products as per client expectations.


Inventory & Logistics

Monitor inventory levels and proactively reorder as required.

Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.

Handle logistical arrangements for importing or transporting furniture items.


Market Research & Quality Control

Stay updated on market trends related to luxury furniture.

Conduct periodic supplier performance evaluations.

Ensure all purchased items meet company quality standards.


Reporting

Maintain up-to-date procurement reports.

Track and report cost savings, vendor performance, and purchase timelines.

🔹 Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.

Minimum 1–2 years of procurement experience (preferably in furniture or interiors).

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word).

Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines.

Strong attention to detail and organization.
