Main Duties:

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Measure, cut, shape, and assemble metal plates and sections

Weld and fit steel or aluminum components

Install structural parts such as frames, bulkheads, and decks

Inspect work to ensure accuracy and quality

Follow safety procedures and company guidelines

Skills & Requirements:

Knowledge of welding and metal fabrication

Ability to read technical drawings

Good measuring and math skills

Physical strength and stamina

Attention to detail

Experience in shipbuilding or fabrication preferred
