Roles

• He/She will be responsible for leading business and managing various aspects of Sales and marketing .
• He/She must have good leadership and innovative marketing skills, and ability to deal with complex issues tactfully.
• Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets
• Effectively MANAGE the client database
• Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity
• Provide MARKET intelligence reports on competitor’s activities
• Establish, maintain and follow up on current client and potential client relationships
• Develop new ACCOUNTS
• Identity and resolve client complaints and enquires promptly
• Prepare a variety of status reports, including sales activity, follow up and adherence to goals
• Communicate new product and service opportunities, special development, information or feedback gathered through field activity to the Unit Head
• Coordinate marketing events such as trade fair and sales exhibition
• Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stock.
• Prepare presentation and proposals.
• Develops criteria and procedures for evaluating and replacing furniture.
• Reinforce a continual process improvement culture in sales and distribution to improve profitability.
• Analyze market trends for new opportunities
• Study competitor’s products and plan for framing new strategies
• Guide and lead the team of managers in achieving the set targets and goals.
• Personally manage key relationships with senior level people in select targeted customers.
• Develop the sales team by reinforcing sales training and utilizing proven sales processes.
• Identify profitable customers and lead the sales team to build the business with these customers.
• Oversee the management of the distribution center operations, inventory.


Requirements

• Minimum Qualification: Degree with 4-6 Years’ Experience
• valid Omani driving license
• minimum 3 years’ experience in Oman
• Expert in goverment tenders

Other Requirements

• Desired Skills and Experience:
• Must have experience in Manufacturing of furniture/ interior design/ joinery/ Wood works
• Proven executive level leadership skills that are self-motivated and results driven.
• Ability to motivate a multi-functional, diverse team to collaborate effectively around a common vision.
• Extremely strong sales & sales management skills focused on managing sales people, training and motivating them to sell “value” more effectively.
• Discipline process and execution skills, to strengthen the processes and routines across the business in distribution and in sales.
• Solid numeric and financial skills to be successful.
• Ability to successfully navigate in customer, field sales, operations, office and distribution environments.
