Quantity Surveyor – Interior Fit-Out

Location: Oman
Industry: Interior Fit-Out / Construction
Experience: 10+ Years Preferred
Salary: No Fixed Limit – Based on Experience & Capability

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with strong knowledge of interior fit-out and construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for quantity take-off, estimation, cost control, BOQ, valuations, variations, subcontractor management, and final accounts.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, estimates and project budgets.
* Review drawings, specifications and tender documents.
* Manage project costing and cost control.
* Evaluate and negotiate supplier/subcontractor quotations.
* Prepare and verify client valuations and subcontractor claims.
* Identify, price and follow up on variations and additional works.
* Maintain project cost, variation and commercial records.
* Prepare final accounts and profitability reports.
* Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Procurement, Suppliers and Subcontractors.

Required Experience & Skills

* 10+ years of relevant experience is strongly preferred.
* Strong experience in interior fit-out, renovation and commercial projects.
* Excellent knowledge of BOQ, quantity surveying, estimation, costing, variations and valuations.
* Good knowledge of fit-out works including joinery, gypsum, ceilings, flooring, painting, partitions, doors, furniture, MEP and FF&E.
* Strong AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel skills.
* GCC/Oman project experience will be an advantage.
* Strong communication, negotiation and analytical skills.
