Description

Urgently required for an home & office maintenance solutions providing company an IT support specialist, preferably female. Job Description: • Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners. • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks to ensure optimal performance, security, and availability. • Respond promptly and effectively to service issues and requests to minimize downtime and disruption. • Provide technical support and guidance to users for all IT solutions requirements, including troubleshooting and problem resolution. • Collaborate with vendors and other IT professionals to resolve complex issues and implement new solutions. • Ensure all systems and applications are up-to-date with the latest security patches and updates. • Assist with the procurement and deployment of new hardware and software. • Develop and maintain documentation for all IT systems, procedures, and policies. • Maintain an inventory of all IT assets and software licenses, ensuring compliance with software licensing agreements. • Manage and maintain the backup and disaster recovery systems to ensure data and systems are protected and recoverable. • Provide training and guidance to users on how to use hardware and software effectively. Qualifications: • Preferably a candidate with Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • At least 3 years of experience in providing IT support and administration in a business environment. • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners. • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Experience in managing Windows and Mac OS environments. • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and VPN technologies. • Familiarity with cloud-based services such as Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong attention to detail and time management skills. • Familiarity with basic administrative tasks such as managing calendars, arranging meetings, and organizing documents. Oman experience with Omani driving liecence will be preferred.
