Job Duties : The Factory Manager position is responsible for managing factory operations that may involving any or all of the following manufacturing, packaging, scheduling, , quality, warehousing, shipping and receiving. Provides direction to employees of these areas in a manner to ensure efficient operations. Manages in accordance with established objectives for efficiency, cost, safety, quality, quantity, timeliness and human resources objectives. Ensure maximum utilization of critical assets and effective operation to meet production schedules. Requires analytical skill and ability to understand the problems being faced in production and resolve them through innovation and involvement. Position should have good working knowledge of labor rules and regulations. Able to update every day work progress into the computer system. The position requires a manufacturing background plus familiarity with ERP systems and tools, company manufacturing facilities, processes, equipment and processes. Knowledge of shop operations and maintenance procedures is required. The position typically requires a college or university. Good human relations skills are required to develop a cooperative work relationship with others inside and outside the department Having good knowledge of basic computers like Ms-Excel, Ms-Word, Email writing etc. .
