MICE Manager – Job Description
Position Overview
The MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) Manager is responsible for planning, developing, and executing corporate events, incentive programs, conferences, and large-scale meetings. This role ensures seamless event coordination, drives business growth through strategic partnerships, and delivers high-quality experiences for clients and attendees.
Key Responsibilities
1. Event Planning & Execution
• Develop, plan, and manage end-to-end MICE events, from concept to completion.
• Coordinate logistics including venue selection, accommodation, transportation, catering, audiovisual set-ups, and on-site support.
• Prepare detailed event proposals, itineraries, budgets, and timelines.
• Conduct site inspections and negotiate with venues and service providers.
2. Client Management
• Understand client objectives and translate them into tailored MICE solutions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout planning and execution.
• Present proposals, manage client expectations, and ensure high satisfaction levels.
• Handle post-event evaluation and feedback to drive improvements.
3. Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, hotels, venues, and travel partners.
• Negotiate contracts, service agreements, and pricing with vendors.
• Oversee third-party performance to ensure quality standards are met.
4. Budgeting & Financial Control
• Develop event budgets and track all financial aspects of each program.
• Ensure cost-effective solutions and optimize spending without compromising quality.
• Prepare financial reports for internal review and client transparency.
5. Sales & Business Development
• Identify and pursue new MICE business opportunities.
• Participate in bidding processes, trade shows, and sales presentations.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create MICE-focused campaigns.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of prospects and achieve revenue targets.
6. Risk & Compliance Management
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and safety requirements.
• Develop contingency plans and manage on-site risk situations.

Qualifications & Skills
Educational Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Business Administration, Tourism, or related field.
Experience
• 3–7 years of experience in MICE, event management, corporate events, or hospitality.
• Proven track record organizing large-scale conferences or corporate incentive programs.
